WHY DO YOU NEED DIGITAL MARKETING
Digital marketing is different from traditional marketing in many ways. But its most important difference is that it focuses on the customer, offering him or her a personalized message and a quick answer to any question they may have, with the assistance of digital technology.
We could say that in traditional marketing you as a business are searching for a customer, while in digital marketing the customer is looking for you. This is a totally different concept of marketing than ever before because instead of bombarding your clients with continuous calls, TV ads and billboards, you are now completely adapting to your clients’ needs and concerns by communicating with them directly, on a more personal level.
This kind of marketing is based on integrity: connectivity through all your digital channels, through which you are telling a coherent story from the very first moment when a potential client hears of you until the moment he or she becomes your satisfied customer. Each channel has its role in the process and needs to be perfectly compatible with all the other channels to send the same message: we are the best solution for your problem!
It’s hard or even impossible to achieve this kind of communication and connection with potential customers through the traditional media, but very much possible through the channels of digital marketing. If you show that you care about their opinion and that they mean more than just a sales figure on a paper, your clients and customers will know how to appreciate it.
Before the emergence of the digital era and new media, marketing was focused solely on sending promotional messages to potential customers, but not on their response.
