On behalf of the government and good people of Ushongo Local Government Area, the Adzu family, management, and staff of the Ushongo Local Government Council, Hon. Adzu Timothy Terkimbi warmly felicitates with the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR); the Vice President, Sen. Kashim Shettima (GCON); the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. Dr. George Akume (CON); the Governor of Benue State, His Excellency Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia; the Deputy Governor, Barr. Sam Ode; the Speaker and Honourable Members of the Benue State House of Assembly; the Chief Judge of Benue State, Hon. Saater Tiseer- Member representing Ushongo State Constituency; and indeed, the good people of Benue State on the historic occasion of Nigeria’s 65th Independence Anniversary.
Over the past sixty-five years, our great nation has made remarkable strides in unity, democracy, and development. While challenges such as insecurity and economic hardship persist, the Nigerian spirit of resilience, strength, and commitment to nation-building continues to shine through. Our diversity remains our greatest strength, and our collective vision will keep propelling us toward a brighter future.
May I particularly commend His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, Executive Governor of Benue State, for his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to youth empowerment, clearly demonstrated through the massive appointments and employment opportunities his administration has created in just over two years in office.
