As a artist from abroad and long-term resident of Zanzibar, spending over two months creating at Ubuntu Art Village has been something special.
A rare space full of freedom, ideas, and raw energy, driven by Reggie Khumalo’s vision to empower artists from Zanzibar, Tanzania, and beyond, to believe in their work and show it to the world.

For ZANZIFILMS, it’s also been a place to widen vision, slow down, exchange, and rethink how stories can be told.

Grateful to be hosted here and to share this momentum as an art ambassador.
