The London Eye is an observation wheel in London, located in the Lambeth district on the south bank of the Thames. It is the second largest in Europe after Moscow and one of the largest in the world. Opened in March 2000.

From a height of 135 meters (approximately 45 floors) in sunny weather, a view of almost all of London and its surroundings at a distance of up to 40 kilometers opens up. This Ferris wheel is a family project of husband and wife architects David Marks and Julia Barfield. It took six years to implement the project.
