Mailchimp за 20 лет своего существования осталась полностью частной компанией, которая ни разу не привлекала внешнее финансирвоание. Поэтому ее покупка стала крупнейшей сделкой в истории по поглощению частной компании.

Все $12 млрд получат два основателя компании — Бен Честнут и Марк Армстронг. Что интересно, сотрудники компании не имеют на руках акций Mailchimp: в свое время основатели сервиса приняли решение разделять между сотрудниками часть прибыли в качестве бонуса, а не давать акции.

Также в компании объявили о назначении вице-главой Microsoft президента компании Брэда Смита.

Сообщается, что на данный момент он возглавляет команду из более 1500 сотрудников в 54 странах.

Смит присоединился к Microsoft в 1993 году от юридической фирмы Covington&Burling, чтобы управлять корпоративными и юридическими делами в Европе. The largest supermarket chain in Ukraine, ATB, has decided to follow its competitors to open a cafe inside its supermarkets. The first such "ATB-cafe" was opened in the updated store of the chain on the Obukhov highway in the village of Lesniki near Kiev, delo.ua notes. In the future, the company plans to equip 25 more ATB stores throughout the country with departments of weight cooking under the ATB-Cafe brand.

The company notes that its own cooking is an additional service for customers of the grocery chain, which works in a regular mode, therefore, the format of the discounter stores will not change due to the introduction of the culinary department.
