It is located in the center of the Polish city of Legnica. Built in the early 16th century, it is one of the most famous Renaissance buildings in the city. It is noteworthy that the unusual name - "By the quail's nest" - was assigned to the house a couple of centuries after its construction. And everything is because of the bay window, which resembles a quail's nest. But first of all the mansion is notable for its facade, which is decorated with various frescos. In addition, some of the windows are in antique stone carved holes. In the 1990s, the building was once again restored. Now it serves as a cultural center - exhibitions are held here. At the same time the upper floor remained in private ownership (now apartments are rented there).

Herring pots
A complex of eight sixteenth-century three-story burghers' apartment buildings, built on the site of former herring stalls (hence the name). The buildings are located in the center of the Polish city of Legnica, in the vicinity of the Old Town Hall. Four of them were built in the Renaissance style, the other four in the classical style. Such architectural diversity is due to the numerous reconstructions to which these houses have been subjected over the centuries.

The Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul is located in the Old Town. The first references to it date back to the 13th century. A century later, the church underwent a complete remodeling. Thus, the building was extended on the western and eastern sides, and the arches of the main aisle were reconstructed. In the 15th century, a chapel was added to the building. During its centuries-long history, the temple has undergone a number of transformations. The last reconstruction took place in the late 19th century, when the facade of the church was reconstructed in the Neo-Gothic style, and the southern tower was added. The status of the church was only recently, in 1992, by the then Pope John Paul II, who was widely revered in Poland. As a sign of this event, a statue of this pope is erected in front of the temple.

A rectangular square located in the historic center of Legnica. As befits a medieval town, it used to be the place where they traded, executed criminals and announced the orders of the town council. The market square was badly damaged during World War II, many buildings were rebuilt. But two town halls survived: the Old - built in the middle of the XVIII century, now part of the local theater, and the New - in neo-Renaissance style, built at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries, used for the needs of the city administration. Głogowska Tower
It is located in the historical center of the Polish city of Legnica. It was built in the XV century of brick. Originally the tower did not have a through passage - it served as an impregnable observation deck, as well as a convenient place from which to shoot back at an attacking enemy. The tower was covered with a tile roof 400 years later. Otherwise its appearance did not change. In 1861 a neo-Gothic aperture was created in the tower for the passage of carriages. However, in the XX century it was bricked up and modern doors were installed. At the moment the tower is used as an office building.

Medieval tower located in the historic center of the Polish city of Legnica. Currently it is used as a low-cost hotel. Chojnowska Tower was built in the fifteenth century as part of the fortifications surrounding the city. It performed purely defensive functions, as a platform for observing the surroundings. During its century-long history the building was reconstructed several times. During the last one - in 1963 - a double row of windows was added, and rooms adapted for sleeping were created on some floors. Thus the city authorities started the inn period of the tower. Nonetheless, the Gothic facade of the Chojnova Tower and the window openings remained in their original shape.
