Hawaiian flower girls are a wonderful example of adaptive radiation within the same family: in accordance with the main food (nectar and pollen of flowers, insects or seeds), some species of Hawaiian flower girls have a thin, curved beak, others have awl—shaped, others have massive, like parrots. They keep on trees and shrubs.
