Another very common belief is that in old age, especially with osteoarthritis of the knee joints, running is unequivocally contraindicated, as it will contribute to a faster “wear” of the sutsavs. However, data have been obtained that running in such people does not lead to increased pain and disruption of the structure of the knee joints, but on the contrary, regular jogging has a positive effect - the intensity of the pain syndrome decreases (Grace K.L., et al., 2018).
