Histogram. The unknown history of Ukraine 🇺🇦
Months back, we were approached by a historian enthusiast Igor Poluektov who researches international archives and uncovers previously unknown facts about the history of Ukraine.
He needed a website where he could publish his discoveries to the general public.
After diving into the client's materials, we realized we had stumbled upon a treasure.
His research fills historical gaps and thoroughly debunks the historical fakes propagated by Russia.
Obviously, we could not pass on the opportunity of making history!
So, to reveal and shed light on the history of Ukraine, we created something more than just a website. We decided to show how rich Ukraine's history is in events while highlighting the numerous undiscovered gaps we aim to fill.
We created an interactive timeline featuring all the known events and gaps in the history of Ukraine, from the appearance of the first humans, until the present day. But the main feature of this timeline is that it is not static – it is alive and changes with every new historical discovery. Moreover, every user can become part of the project by contributing to filling in the gaps. Thus, we emphasize that history is everyone's business, not just professors in dusty offices.

Histogram. Невідома історія України 🇺🇦
До нас звернувся історик-ентузіаст Igor Poluektov, який досліджує світові архіви та відшукує досі невідомі факти з історії України. Йому потрібен був сайт, де він зможе публікувати свої відкриття для широкої публіки. Ознайомившись з матеріалами, ми зрозуміли – перед нами скарб! Його дослідження не лише заповнюють прогалини, а й вщент розносять історичні фейки, які розпліднює російська пропаганда.
Тож щоб пролити світло на історію України, ми зробили дещо більше, ніж просто сайт. Ми вирішили буквально показати, яка багата на події історія України і водночас скільки в ній ще незвіданних лакун, які нам належить заповнити. Ми створили інтерактивний часоплин з усіма відомими подіями та прогалинами в історії України: від появи перших людей і до сьогодні. Але головне, що цей часоплин не статичний – він живе і видозмінюється з кожною новою історичною знахідкою. Ба більше: кожен користувач може зробити свій вклад у заповненні прогалин і стати частиною проєкту. Так ми наголошуємо, що історія – це справа кожного з нас, а не лише професорів у старих кабінетах.
