The Azores Islands are one of the best locations in our blue planet for 👀

From multiple species of dolphins, like these curious Atlantic spotted dolphins, to s***m whales, to baleen whales including the two largest species: the blue and fin whales 🐬 🐳

A former whaling hub, since the end of commercial whaling, the Azores Islands became a safe haven for these magnificent creatures. Nowadays, thousands of tourists that visit this remote archipelago for some unique encounters, supporting a thriving industry for the local economy.

A situation for both whales and human beings! 💙
