The benefits of milk
Among the vitamins and minerals contained in milk, calcium plays a particularly important role. It helps to strengthen the bones, muscles and nervous system. Not without reason, health professionals recommend (provided there are no contraindications or individual intolerance) to regularly drink milk in sufficient quantities, replenishing calcium stores in order to avoid osteoporosis. Milk is also a source of potassium, which has a beneficial effect on the cardiovascular system. It dilates blood vessels and lowers blood pressure, which minimizes the risk of stroke.
It has also been shown that calcium, in combination with vitamin D, which regulates cell growth, can reduce the risk of colon and re**al cancer and protect the intestinal mucosa.
