Before the war, Kyiv and its suburbs accounted for half of the entire Ukrainian residential real estate market. At the end of 2021, in Kyiv alone, there were 176 residential complexes at the stage of construction or preparatory work before handover. As of mid-June, about 40% of the available construction sites in the capital were operating, and the average price of apartments in Kyiv's new buildings, according to LUN data, returned to pre-war values.
