As NPS Fashion Week comes to a close, the 2022 color forecast is in and this season Rocky Mountain National Park is sporting an array of soft blues and greens that pair well with our new featured color, Lake Haiyaha Green.

This milky blue/green shade is a mixture of alpine lake water and the fine-grained silt and clay found in rock flour flowing down from Chaos Canyon. A real natural beauty of both the Ukrainian Carpathians and the whole of Ukraine is the high mountain range of Chornohora, which includes the highest point of Ukraine - Mount Hoverla (2061 m).

In addition to Hoverla, there are four more peaks above 2,000 meters - Chorna Gora (2,028 m), Petros (2,020 m), Gutyn Tomnatyk (2,013 m), Rebra (2,002 m).

The mountain has a cone-like shape, consists of sandstones and conglomerates of stone rocks. It is covered with alpine meadows, shrub wastelands, and in some places - stone ruins.

There is also a large metal cross, a sculptural monument with a Ukrainian trident (which was vandalized in 2007) and a concrete pillar.
