Windfor’s Kyiv is announcing the quest for a creative copywriter.
The quest is called ‘Honey Pie’ 🎼
An interested candidate has to interpret these lyrics from The Beatles’ “White Album” infamous song.
Your creative interpretation will be the key to your success in owning the spot at Windfor’s Kyiv.
Our own version reads like this:
"Honey Pie"
___________
She was a working girl*
North of England way**
Now she's hit the big time
In the U.S.A.***
And if she could only hear me
This is what I'd say:
Honey pie, you are making me crazy
I'm in love but I'm lazy
So won't you please come home.****
Oh honey pie, my position is tragic
Come and show me the magic
Of your Hollywood song.*****
You became a legend of the silver screen
And now the thought of meeting you
Makes me weak in the knee.
Oh honey pie, you are driving me frantic
Sail across the Atlantic******
To be where you belong.
Will the WIND that blew her boat
Across the sea
Kindly send her sailing back to me.
Honey pie, you are making me crazy
I’m in love but I’m lazy
So won’t you please come home.

** maybe from Kharkiv or Lviv or Odesa (Or even from Kyiv, doesn’t really matter)
*** maybe on Podol, Kyiv
**** to us
***** maybe of a fascinating campaign idea
****** to Nazarivska st. 19
Now it’s your turn!
Tell us your story – based on this song and lyrics – in your native Ukrainian language.
No rules apply! You are free to make a one-liner or a subtitled music video, anything really that comes to mind.
Blow us away – we love the wind!
