не волнуйся напрасно. я, как ни странно, жив. у меня есть веранда, книги и чай с душицей. остывающий берег, полночь, маяк, прилив. я курю очень редко. со мной ничего не случится.
я читаю Тургенева, Цвейга, рассказы По, ем пирожные с самым воздушным кремом. затеваю от скуки какой-нибудь глупый спор. сам с собою, конечно. но это же не проблема?

я гуляю с собакой, смотрю на барашки волн. здесь рыбацкие сети пахнут песком и тиной. есть бутылка креплёного. к чёрту сегодня сон. я напьюсь и отмечу печальную годовщину.
ничего не случится. просто вернусь назад. в сумасшедшее время кафешек и поцелуев, аритмии, концертов, прогулок и автострад… ты же помнишь меня тем сказочным обалдуем?

я влюбился до жути, как будто попал в кино. Тарантино и Финчер дымили тогда в сторонке. я забыл все названия, я повторял одно – ядовитое слово, звучащее слишком громко.
задыхался у двери, бросался к твоим губам. карамельное солнце лилось на паркет и кожу. ты пьянила, как вермут, и я напивался в хлам. мы смотрели на люстру и хохотали, лёжа.

ничего не случилось. или случилось всё. я увидел Венецию, Сидней, Стамбул и Рио. я узнал про Гогена, Хендрикса и Басё… это было цунами. бедствие. шок. эйфория.
всюду был этот запах – мята, миндаль, ваниль. по черничному небу рассыпались манкой звёзды. мы сбежали из дома. нас прятал автомобиль. ты почти заменила мне воду, еду и воздух.

не волнуйся напрасно. я не сижу в сети. не смотрю твои фото и не пишу знакомым. у меня есть бутылка, фрукты и «ассорти». только старое чувство в горле застыло комом.
я гуляю по пляжу, ракушки кладу в карман, наблюдаю, как море взрывается с новой силой. ничего не случится. подумаешь – буду пьян.

ничего не случилось.
подумаешь – разлюбила...
