Sport - is life
Playing sports is one of the most accessible and simple ways to improve your health, prolong your life and generally change yourself for the better. Most people approach physical exercise either with skepticism (“okay, they won’t give me anything serious”) or with some disdain (“it’s good, of course, but there are enough other things to do”).
In fact, daily exercise, even for half an hour, can have a significant impact on a person’s physical and psychological well-being.
Let's just ask the question: “What is playing sports?” Of course, we are not talking about big sport, which becomes a profession for its participants. There, the loads can be prohibitive, and, to be honest, competition participants use doping regularly. But this is work that brings income to athletes and on which their well-being depends.
Now we are talking about something completely different - amateur sports, which is not the main component of life, but can be a very useful addition to it.
If a person starts playing sports, this instantly gives him one advantage - he trains his discipline. It is impossible to devote your time to some activity every day (or several times a week) and not control your behavior.
You have to make sure that there is time left for sports (often this is a strictly defined period during the day) so that the body is ready for these activities (you can’t really run in a completely dead state). And the sports process itself requires control and concentration.
Thus, a person who devotes even half an hour of his free time to sports and is determined to do this for a long time, gets used to discipline, to certain strict requirements that cannot be neglected. If he has any problems with this in the rest of his life, playing sports will definitely help.
Moreover, this, as you understand, is just an indirect benefit, but even it can be of great importance. The next point is the state of the body as a whole. The modern rhythm of life forces a person to spend huge periods of time in positions that are extremely harmful to our health: someone sits too much, someone has to stand in one place for a long time, for someone the letter “zyu” is their natural position.
All this leads to circulatory disorders and other processes that are not always noticeable in the present, but threaten serious problems in the future. And when a person rests, he most often only aggravates the situation - one, having spent a full day working at a computer in the office, continues to do the same thing at home, another stands behind the counter in a store, and, having returned home, washes things, bent over . And so on.
But our body is not an ideal mechanism; it also has operating rules, and when they are regularly and consistently violated, it begins to wear out very quickly.
In this regard, playing sports is an excellent way to change the situation. Various exercises and games have been invented and perfected over the years; they have long concentrated on the operations that a person needs to do with his body in order to keep it in good shape.
You don't even need to think about why you are doing this or that exercise, just follow the recommendations. It's like in music - you don't have to think about why the classic finger placement on the guitar is the most comfortable, it's enough to just know that it is so.
Moreover, I repeat, it is not necessary to devote huge amounts of time to sports; short sessions will be enough. The main thing is that they are stable, because only a specific system can have a real impact on a person.
By exercising regularly, you will not allow your body to completely turn into an old creaky cart, and this will not only protect you from serious troubles in the distant future, but will also prevent unpleasant surprises from happening now. And they, as you know, lurk around every corner.
And that is not all. In the previous paragraph we talked about the body as a whole. But there are also specific problems with this or that part of the body, with this or that organ.
And in contrast to them, there is a huge variety of sports exercises aimed at solving one or another specific trouble that has happened to your body. With just a little patience and organization, you'll at least make a significant improvement.
Isn't it worth it?
People tend to have an approach in which only physical problems are attributed to the state of the body. In fact, the psychological state of a person greatly depends on the state of the body.
And this becomes obvious, you just need to think a little. Just imagine that the brain does not receive enough blood, and with it, oxygen and nutrients. Do you think a person can feel good and not be irritable, apathetic, lethargic?
