SO-COL, a startup co-founded by cryptocurrency Influencer Irene Zhao, has raised $100 million in a private funding round. It was led by investment fund Blockchain Capital, The Block writes, citing sources.
According to them, the amount is not final - negotiations with investors are ongoing. The funds raised are planned to be used for app development, marketing and hiring developers.
Zhao confirmed the fundraising in an interview with the publication. The startup, she said, "helps Web 2 creators and influencers transition to Web 3.0 with a simple user interface.
