Але це не проста риба. Для мене це своєрідний символ того, що в Росії є цілеспрямовані люди, які люблять нашу історію та культуру.

Олена Пєтухова – звичайна вчителька. Вона народилася у невеликому селі Заозер'я, яке знаходиться у Ярославській області. І про це село ніколи б не дізналася широка громадськість, якби не будинок із щуками. Різьблений купецький особняк дуже довго стояв занедбаним. І кілька років тому Альона вирішила, що будинок треба рятувати. Заручившись братом, вона купила його.

Звичайно, у сільської вчительки грошей на реставрацію одразу не знайшлося. Тому було організовано збір коштів через краудфандинговий майданчик. Ну а риба – це моя винагорода за допомогу проекту. Такі незвичайні назви пов'язані з існуванням безлічі колірних форм цього жука. Перші дослідники кожну зустрінуту морфу відносили до окремого виду, доки з'ясувалося, що це - один вид. Сонечко-арлекін - один з наймінливіших видів тварин у природі. Виділяється більше 10 основних морф арлекінів, а також безліч перехідних. Загалом цей вид помітно більший за інші схожі сонечка. Розрізняють їх за особливостями фарбування переднеспинки, а також нижньої частини тіла та кінцівок.
