Uganda National Corporate Tournament Eastern Edition Set for August in Mbale

The Uganda National Corporate Tournament (UNCT) Eastern Edition will take place on August 22–23, 2026, at the Mbale Cricket Grounds, bringing together corporate teams from across Uganda for a two-day 7-a-side football competition.

Hosted by Mbale Corporate Club (MCC) , the tournament will be held under the theme “Kick for Hope & Mobility.”

The competition will follow FUFA rules and 7-aside, with each team required to field one female player. Participation is strictly for players aged 30 years and above, while licensed footballers are not allowed. Only players registered under UNCT will be eligible.

Team registration is UGX 300,000.

School of Hygiene Mbale Finish Runners-Up in Health Training Games

School of Hygiene (SoH) Mbale finished as runners-up in boys football at the 24th edition of the Health Training Institutional Games Championship held at Gulu College of Health Sciences.

Speaking after the tournament, SoH Mbale Head of Sports Wilson Kavuma said the 25th edition of the championship in 2027 will be hosted by School of Hygiene Mbale between June and August.

The 28-year-old Brazil midfielder has signed a four-year deal, with an option for another 12 months.
