UPDATE:
Last year, we capacitated our teams, onboarded newer talent, and used the Masterclass as an opportunity for team building helping our newer and core members connect, collaborate, and learn from one another outside of work.
Our 2-Day Masterclass was an incredible journey in building teams that serve with clarity, intention, and respect.
Miss Adejoke Adegun, Founder Xqwizit Events Solutions and Consumer Satisfaction Strategist for over a decade who also doubles as our mentor in the events staffing solutions guided our teams to understand that great service isn’t just about what you do, but how you make people feel.
Teams learned to read the room, anticipate needs, communicate calmly under pressure, and deliver consistency together, all while protecting both the guest experience and their own well-being.
She reminded us that professionalism, presence, and dignity matter as much as skill, and that reflection and accountability are tools for growth.
Our Team Leads also explored how understanding a leader’s vision shapes team performance and cohesion. Respect, they emphasized, flows both ways from leaders to fellows and back again.
Miss Joan Nabatanzi Miss Uganda 2nd Runners Up 2024, led a powerful session on poise, confidence, and graceful interactions. She reminded our teams that professionalism is rooted in presence how you carry yourself, how you enter a space, and how you engage others with calm assurance. Confidence doesn’t need to be loud, disingenuous or condescending and grace often shows up in the smallest moments.
Miss Belinda, A Consumer Interactions Strategist in the Aviation Industry followed with an equally important conversation on how tone shapes our interactions and the importance of cultural sensitivity. She emphasized that tone is often felt before words are fully heard.
She also guided our teams on how to actively listen, demonstrating that service excellence starts with truly hearing and understanding others. Her session reinforced how tone, empathy, and responsiveness can make every interaction respectful and meani
A thoughtful tone can de-escalate situations, build trust, and preserve dignity, especially in high-pressure or unfamiliar environments. In diverse spaces, excellence requires awareness, adaptability, and respect not assumptions.
By equipping our teams with skills, confidence, and awareness, we’re helping them not just succeed at work, but carry these lessons into their personal lives. Because true empowerment starts when people can show up as their best selves everywhere.
To closed the Masterclass, we used the opportunity to onboard new team members and bring our core and newer teams together outside of work.
This created space for bonding, collaboration, and learning from one another
