On this day in 2017 I was presenting the first ever Kyambogo University Faculty of Science multi website to the Dean of Faculty and the heads of departments. This project was later picked up by the university to become an overall university project to develop the main university website and the sub websites.
In June 2019, the Kyambogo University website was nominated by NITA U as one of the best government websites in the connected category in Uganda in a race that involved URA, MUK, KCCA, and URSB and KYU.

Upon the invitation by Kyambogo University Computing Students Association -Kyucsa to offer my expertise in Linux Systems Administration. I take this opportunity to thank the association for remembering our efforts to acquire skills while still at the university. This is very key in our Uganda today as the biggest jobs on the market are now based on the technical know WHO? and bribe yet it is only a few graduates who can meet these gateways. So, the only option is to equip yourself while at the university to be able to compete in the technical know HOW! option, given a chance.

Some of the people have thrived through very quickly because they utilised their time while at the university. Secondly, with ICT it is much easier than some of the other professions because the demand for computing services is high in almost every sector but still a few computing scholars take this opportunity.

I argue students to maximise their time at the university and prepare for a better tomorrow. I once again encourage ICT learners to carry on deep research and technical practice early enough in any desired field. This will help and smoothness your scope of searching for a job or even become an ICT business proprietor.

Today, I will practically take through Kyambogo University Department of Computer Science students in LINUX SERVER SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATION based on UBUNTU SERVER 18.04 LTS.

Building a strong reputation in the ICT industry is one of my key priorities.
I can submit that through Interlet Ltd we are adding a great value to the ICT industry and assure you that we shall be rolling out a national ICT programme soon which is aimed at impacting instititions of higher learning and support the production of skilled human labor for the industry.
