When the going gets tough you just have to keep going! Today my cutting machine refused to cut properly.😮‍💨 In the process of trying to fix it I lost several sheets of paper, time and my patience. After 3hrs of attempting to get this done. I put my tools down. Left the office and decided to say a quick prayer.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is not an order for one of my typical clients. It's for a ministry, for a place that guides our children in Biblical education. Saturday is the fundraising Gala for Grace Christian Academy and I was tasked with preparing the favors that will be handed out. My machine not working makes this task so much harder and much more time consuming, because now I have to cut 200 tags by hand.

However....after praying I realized that this is not a difficult task, this is for a very special event that is going to allow kids to continue to attend a Christian school, where Christian values are taught. I feel honored to have been asked to lend my talents for this event. Not to mention this gives me time to practice my scissor skills 😉 and listen to some Christ centered podcasts.

What an amazing way to start off this new year! It's been a while since I've posted on this profile. Although I should be working on promoting my business more by showing my face around here lol, I will try to be more consistent this year. Just because I've been away doesn't mean I haven't been creating amazing things behind the scenes. It's just that, time has not been on my side. As a mom of 3 now social media has become a second thought in my life. Being sooo busy with mom life, church life and running a business all at the same time has not been easy. Which doesn't really give me much time to edit photos and videos, or even leave much energy to create an inspiring caption for Said post!

However this year's first event was this one in the picture. A friend requested a Rainbow balloon arch for her baby shower. A request that came with a huge challenge. 1: I've never created a rainbow out of balloons before 2: I've heard from several of my friends who do balloon installations professionally that it was a difficult task to do for someone who had NO experience. As someone who loves a challenge and will do anything for the ones she cares about; I accepted it. I spent days watching YouTube videos and taking notes. And choosing the correct color pallet and sizing for the balloons. It took me 2 tries and several hours of work before the end result was what I wanted. But I do have to say that I am very PROUD of myself. This is something that I am proud to have accomplished. Not because it was the most amazing balloon installation every seen hahahah (far from it) but because of everything I had going on this week, the stress the unforeseen issues & migraines. I still managed to deliver what I had promised. Even though at the time when I said yes, I wasn't sure if I would be able to do it. But by the Grace of God I did! To some it may be a simple balloon display, but to me it was much more than that! 🌈❤️
