Before Spooky Pixel Designs existed, Folklore Haunted House in Acworth, GA was our old stomping grounds. So our visit last Saturday felt less like another stop on our haunt tour, and more like a reunion. It was great catching up with folks, seeing all the new changes, and getting our camera back on some familiar nightmarish faces.

Our first haunt tonight was Dread Hollow in Chattanooga, TN! We were impressed by its immersive environments, interactive cast, and clever use of shadows. Just when we thought we knew what was waiting, the show found ways to subvert our expectations.

As we begin the trek home today, we want to take a moment to thank everyone at for being such gracious hosts and welcoming us so warmly this weekend!

They are only in their third season, but the passion and dedication this crew brings to the attraction is undeniable. We’re incredibly proud to have helped them showcase what they’ve built and elevate their brand identity to match the experience waiting inside.

The crowds were fantastic this weekend, and if you haven’t visited yet, you owe it to yourself to check them out.

We’ve seen a lot of shows and met a lot of crews over the years, and this haunt family has something truly special. They’re destined for big things, and we’re grateful to be part of the journey.

An impromptu stop this good deserves a proper look back.

On our way to Wabash, IN last night, we made a detour through Hanna Haunted Acres, and its roaming cast gave us plenty of reasons to pull out the camera.

“By haunters, for haunters” isn’t just something we put on the website.

This weekend, Spooky Pixel Designs is heading to Wabash, Indiana, for our first in-season client visit at The Nightmare Factory Wabash and we’re getting directly into the scaring.

We’ll be capturing live scare footage and seeing firsthand how the attraction and campaigns we’ve helped define are performing during the season.

Then, once the doors open, we’re putting down the cameras for a bit and joining the monsters ourselves. For one night only, Twitch and Cor will be let loose in Ashwix.

This is the kind of partnership we wanted SPD to be built around: not simply delivering content from behind a desk, but showing up, supporting the crew, experiencing the operation, and doing whatever we can to help make the season successful.

We can’t wait to see everyone this weekend!
