Getting a behind-the-scenes look into so many different businesses over the years has been one of our favorite parts of what we do 🤍

And since today is Say Something Nice Day, we wanted to say thank you! Reviews like this mean so much because social media is really about people and relationships first.

Not every “red flag” automatically means someone will be a nightmare client. Sometimes it’s just misaligned expectations, lack of understanding around strategy, or someone who’s had a bad experience before.

BUT these are definitely the things that make us pause for a second:

🚩 Ghosting when it’s time to send content or feedback
(But somehow needing changes the day before things go live 🙃)

🚩 “Can we just copy what they’re doing?”
Because your business deserves a strategy built around your audience, not someone else’s feed.

🚩 Giving zero direction… then hating every option
We can absolutely guide and strategize, but collaboration > mind reading every time.

🚩 “My niece does this for free.”
Love her. Support her. But strategy, systems, content creation, analytics, community building, and growth aren’t exactly the same as posting a Reel 😅

🚩 “We’ve worked with a few social media managers before and none of them worked out.”
Not always a red flag… but definitely a conversation starter because patterns tell stories.

🚩 “Can we pay after we see results?”
Social media marketing is building momentum, testing, strategy, and consistency. It isn’t a magic button.

🚩 “We just need something to go viral.”
Virality is fun. Community, trust, and conversions? That’s the goal.

And the biggest green flag? 💚
Trusting the strategy you hired someone for.

Because the best partnerships happen when expertise + collaboration + communication work together 🤝

SMMs and business owners… what’s a red flag you’d add? 👀👇

Social media tools, agency organization tools, content creation platforms, automation systems… this is the stack we genuinely use every single week to keep our agency running. 👀

Because if we’re being real… managing multiple clients, content calendars, approvals, emails, edits, meetings, analytics, and about 37 tabs open at the same time? There has to be a system behind it 😅

Here’s a peek at some of our go-to tools and why they’ve earned permanent spots in our workflow:

✨ Scheduling + Organization
• Sprout Social → scheduling, analytics, reporting, Smart Inbox, content approvals
• Asana → our digital brain for projects, weekly check-ins, and keeping the team organized
• Dropbox → where all client content, b-roll, approvals, and campaign assets live

✨ Content Creation
• CapCut → easy editing, templates, fonts, and some of our favorite captions tools
• Canva → graphics, videos, stories, templates, brand kits (basically where half our lives happen 😂)
• Leonardo AI → creating and editing visuals when we need extra support or quick content gaps filled

✨ Marketing + Communication
• Constant Contact → newsletters, nurture sequences, and email marketing (because building something you own matters)
• Zoom → team calls, client meetings, onboarding, all the things
• ManyChat → automation magic for links, blogs, sign-ups, and removing extra steps for your audience

No gatekeeping over here 🤝

Now we want to know: what’s one tool you use every single day that you'd fight to keep if someone tried taking it away?

Hot Take: You do NOT need to spend an hour digging through hashtags, stalking competitors, or leaving 🔥🔥🔥 under random posts hoping Instagram notices you.

Most people either skip engagement completely… or make it way harder than it needs to be.

The biggest shift we’ve seen across client accounts over the last 12 years? Intentional outbound engagement. Not because we’re trying to “beat the algorithm,” but because social media was literally built to be social.

Spend 8–10 minutes intentionally connecting before jumping into your regular work. Find people in your niche. Find local businesses. Find accounts your ideal audience is already interacting with.

Then actually engage.
Not “love this 😍”
Not a random emoji.

Real comments. Ask questions. Add thoughts. Start conversations people WANT to reply to.

Because when you consistently show Instagram what communities, topics, and people you want to be part of, it starts paying attention too. Suggested accounts get better, finding your people gets easier, and your content starts getting places in front of similar audiences.

Growing comes from being more intentional with what you’re already doing 🤝

Growing on social media isn’t as hard as you make it out to be. There, we said it 🫢

It’s about going back to the basics. To stay consistent even when you feel like things aren’t paying off yet.

This is the EXACT strategy we’ve used as an agency for 12+ years. It’s simple, effective, and works for every platform because it’s not focused on what the algorithm is doing….

Instead, it’s focused on:
• what YOU are doing
• what you audience is doing
• what your content is doing

It’s not focused on:
• hopping on trends
• posting every day
• doing what others in your niche are
• waiting for non-followers to find you
• changing your approach every couple of weeks because it’s “not working”

In this part 1, we’re breaking down the importance of content clarity for your strategy. You’ve heard it before, but without this crystal clear foundation anything else you’re implementing in your strategy won’t be as strong.

📍SAVE this so you can look at each of your accounts and make sure you’re covering these basics.

FOLLOW for part 2 where we’ll share our exact engagement strategy that grows and doesn’t take hours of your day 👏

Being a social media manager, hallelujah 🙌✨

The Bieberchella marketing impact is still going strong, and while this trend might be nearing its end, it’s still worth hopping on! This is an easy way to connect with your audience and takes less than 5 minutes - stuck on what to post next week? Not anymore 👏

Another week of done-for-you hooks for small businesses in any niche 👇✨

Hook 1:
“You’re the perfect fit for [offer] if…”
Example (lash artist): “You’re the perfect fit for lash extensions if your ‘quick routine’ still takes 20 minutes.”
Why it works: Calls out their reality + helps them self-identify immediately.

Hook 2:
“If your [everyday habit] feels like this… watch this”
Example (chiropractor): “If your mornings start with back pain before you even get out of bed… watch this.”
Why it works: Mirrors a real moment + pulls them in instantly.

Hook 3:
“Be honest… you’ve been [struggle], haven’t you?”
Example (boutique): “Be honest… you’ve been wearing the same 3 outfits on repeat, haven’t you?”
Why it works: Relatable + slightly calling them out in a light way.

Hook 4:
“If [small frustration] is part of your routine… this is for you”
Example (esthetician): “If picking at your skin is part of your routine lately… this is for you.”
Why it works: Speaks to a real behavior without judgment.

Hook 5:
“You don’t need [what they think], you need this instead”
Example (fitness coach): “You don’t need another workout plan… you need a routine you’ll actually stick to.”
Why it works: Pattern interrupt + reframes what they think they need.

You’re not just grabbing attention… you’re making your audience feel seen enough to stop and listen 🙌
