If you look really close you can see two people hiding in the first photo. Guess who my chamber friends?

This was at The Melty ribbon cutting today where the owners offered chamber ambassadors lunch. Some of the favorites were grilled cheese and the brisket sandwich. I didn’t get to stay to try but I will definitely be back.

Congrats to Melty and their new Aiken location.

So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.

8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

I’ve been working with an organization Teachers Haven who partnered with Kennedy Middle PTO this year to provide all of the staff with these cute ornaments this year. They even had them personalized. This wasn’t just for the teachers but everyone at the school.

We so greatly appreciate April for providing supplies and support to the schools in Aiken County!

I went to Bottom Line Bakery & Cafe of Aiken. I don’t know how I missed this place other than I normally go downtown Aiken in the evening. Heath bars are my favorite and their toffee bar is so good! Cute place, I was impressed. 😊

I met with Denise (pictured) and Paul The Hidden Trough Aesthetics today. They were helping raise money for “toys for tots” and anticipating their grand opening on November 21st at 9 am. They are located at TLC off of Silver Bluff Rd. In Aiken. They also have a face scanner that tells you what kind of condition your skin is in before you receive treatment. You would have to see it to understand!

I had a nice chat with Andy today HomeSmiles Aiken. Andy is a veteran and helps businesses and homeowners with maintenance ( pressure washing, handyman services etc.) here in Aiken.

He’s active in the community and you may have seen him at Chamber events or his vehicle around town.

He also has discounts including gift cards and promos for veterans. It’s great to meet business owners who care so much about their clients like Andy does!
