Grateful for time on the golf course with our friend Ken Shuman. A chance to slow down, laugh, and enjoy being together. At IMMIX, we’re big believers that you can pursue meaningful work and enjoy life along the way. In fact, we think it's a must!

We recently got to spend time in Houston with Ken (and his awesome wife Becky) and Angela from the Faithwalking team!
It was the perfect mix of planning, strategizing, good conversations, lots of laughter, and great memories made… oh, and a little podcast recording too. 😊
Beyond thankful for these incredible people we get to call not only our clients, but our friends.

What a great night at the University of Akron’s Marketing Career Networking Night! Taylor Institute for Direct Marketing
It’s always energizing to connect with marketing students who are curious about the field, asking thoughtful questions, and exploring how they can use their skills to make a real impact. We also enjoyed spending time with fellow marketers from across the community who care deeply about the work and the people behind it.
We love being part of a community that invests in the next generation. Thank you to the University of Akron for creating spaces like this where students and professionals can learn from each other.

Business owners 👇
Here’s a simple relational marketing tip that pays long-term dividends: Start asking, “How do I serve the customers I already have better?”

Relational marketing is about building trust over time. So block off some time this week to try one thing:
*Send a quick “thinking of you” email to 5 current clients (no pitch- just gratitude).
*Send a hand written note and a gift card for coffee to your top 10 customers.
*Follow up with a phone call after a completed project just to ask how things are going.

When people feel seen, remembered, and valued — they stay and they tell other people!
Marketing built on relationship creates loyalty.

Danae recently launched a new podcast with friend and client Ken Shuman, Executive Director of Faithwalking, called: Making Wholeness Possible.
Three episodes in… and the conversations have already gone deep.
So far they’ve explored:

One of the things we love most about the work we do at IMMIX?
You truly never know who you’re going to meet along the way.
Recently, we were filming a video testimony for 330 Dental and let’s just say… an unexpected Elvis made an appearance — complete with a sparkling, perfect smile.
Moments like these are a reminder that great stories are everywhere when you’re paying attention.
That’s the joy of relational work. You can’t script it and you wouldn’t want to!

We loved seeing all the creative doors decorated by the students at S.U.P.E.R. Learning Center. The joy, imagination, and heart on display were incredible.
We’re so thankful for clients who quickly become friends. S.U.P.E.R. Learning Center is one of those places – full of creativity, joy, and heart. The love their staff and students bring each day is truly something special.
