Big Announcement time - I've had a lot of life stuff happen! ✨

I have really enjoyed running Palindrome Marketing, and have learned so much from this experience (almost two years of self employment!). However, I have been given an opportunity that I really can't refuse.

I've accepted a position at the Department of Justice in Salem on their communications team, I'll get to use my marketing skills to make a difference for Oregonians!

I'm really excited to take this next step in my career, and can't wait to work with their team.

Palindrome will be scaled down to more of a side project; I am happy to provide marketing consults on weekends or evenings, and will still be managing a couple clients. As always, if you ever have questions about social media, I am happy to help at no cost!

Being able to run Palindrome while I was in college full time allowed me to learn concepts inside the classroom and out. Translating lecture to my business made me a better student.

2023 was full of so many great experiences, I am excited for what 2024 has to offer!

I want to thank all the businesses that have helped me experience what it was like to have my own business, that have helped me become a better marketer, and a more well-rounded professional.

For all my friends with small businesses, even if your business is small, the fact you created employment for yourself is incredible. Don't be afraid to take risks and try something new!

Consistency is important: Being consistent in your responsiveness to clients, vendors, and social media is critical, but this is especially true when you are first going out and representing your business in the networking sphere. ✨

Try to go consistently to your networking meetings, even if it feels awkward, even if you don't know anybody. With time and commitment you’ll become a fixture to the group, people will keep your business top of mind, and the anxiety of it all will slip away.

It was very exciting to host my first meeting as President of the Greater Albany Rotary! This year I will be utilizing my marketing experience to help grow our club to pre-pandemic levels. ✨

On Monday, President Hannah Blicher had her first meeting as President. 👏. We will be at Loafer’s again next week.

Hi Pals!

We have a new social media channel to get into. Threads was launched on Wednesday by Meta, to serve as a competitor to Twitter and to diversify Meta’s social media offerings. According to Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Threads will serve as a text-based conversation app.

Currently, with how new it is, everybody is learning through trial and error, and there is no one perfect strategy to grow your account. However, the tried and true method to grow any social media channel is engagement, consistent posts, and connecting with others. With this: have fun, try it out, because we are all learning. Palindrome Marketing will keep you updated as new developments come in as the app grows in size.
