Team Rueckert Advertising had a busy weekend supporting our clients’ marketing, social media, PR, and event coverage efforts across the region.

On Saturday, we were proud to support the Firefighters Association of the State of New York 2nd Annual Lake George Training Symposium, which welcomed more than 140 attendees and nearly tripled attendance from last year. Volunteer firefighters from across New York gathered for a weekend of education, leadership, networking, and collaboration focused on strengthening the state’s volunteer fire service.

Sunday brought two major events at Saratoga Performing Arts Center for Maria College. In the morning, we celebrated Commencement for the Class of 2026 as more than 200 graduates crossed the stage ready to begin the next chapter of their careers. In the afternoon, 146 future nurses were honored during the Nursing Pinning Ceremony, recognizing their dedication and commitment to healthcare.

We’re grateful to work alongside organizations making a difference in our communities and proud of our team for another successful weekend supporting clients across the Capital Region and beyond.

Yesterday was an exciting milestone for longtime client, Hometown Health Center, as they unveiled their new logo and tagline, “The Heartbeat of Community Health.”

The reveal took place during an All-Staff Meeting at the Ancient Order of Hibernians on State Street, where nearly 150 team members gathered to celebrate together.

The new identity reflects the voices of their staff and patients. After a survey and three design options, the HHC team selected the logo and tagline that best represent who they are and the care they provide every day.

Over the coming weeks, you will begin to see the new branding roll out across Hometown Health Centers.

They are proud to move forward as The Heartbeat of Community Health!

Last night we celebrated Joe Gambino, Chief Executive Officer of Hometown Health Center, at his retirement celebration at Mohawk Golf Club in Schenectady.

After 17 years of leadership at Hometown Health Centers, Joe retires from his role at the end of the month, closing an incredible chapter defined by growth, innovation, and compassion.

Surrounded by board members, senior staff, and close colleagues, Joe was honored with proclamations from representatives of Paul D. Tonko, Senator Chuck Schumer, Schenectady Mayor Gary McCarthy.

Joe’s remarks captured the heart of his leadership and his deep appreciation for others. “This is not something you do alone. It never is,” he said. Reflecting on the early days, Joe shared, “If I had known how scared I should have been early on, I might not have had the courage to do some of the things we did.” He also spoke movingly about his team, saying, “I don’t know what I would have done without my team.”

From expanding services and access to care to building trusted partnerships across the region, Joe’s impact will be felt for years to come.

We also welcome Christine Smoot-Lowers as she steps into the role of Chief Executive Officer and leads Hometown Health Centers forward.

Maria College brought college-level technology straight to the classroom today at Mater Christi School in Albany.

As part of Catholic Schools Week, eighth-grade students took part in hands-on STEM lab sessions using the college’s Mobile Virtual Reality Lab. The experience introduced students to virtual reality technology currently used in nursing education, including guided simulation scenarios that mirror real-world healthcare settings.

College staff led three interactive sessions, giving students an early look at how virtual reality can support learning in STEM, health, and wellness fields.

The visit highlights Maria College’s focus on community partnerships and expanding access to emerging technologies, while helping students explore future career pathways at an early age.
