Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Sign Installer and play a vital role in bringing visual branding and signage to life across various commercial and public spaces. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from installing eye-catching storefront signs to complex architectural signage, ensuring safety, precision, and quality at every step. As a Sign Installer, you'll be the key to transforming design concepts into reality, contributing to the visual identity of businesses and organizations. We are committed to fostering a collaborative environment that values safety, craftsmanship, and innovation.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine installation requirements.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding to install signs on various surfaces including walls, ceilings, and exteriors.
Measure accurately and mark locations for sign mounting points using levels, measuring tapes, and laser tools.
Install a variety of signage including channel letters, lighted signs, glass displays, fixtures, and framing components with precision.
Ensure all installations comply with local building codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
Coordinate with project managers, construction teams, and clients to ensure timely completion of projects.
Conduct inspections during and after installation to verify proper function, alignment, and safety of signage.
Qualifications

Proven experience in construction site work or sign installation preferred; familiarity with blueprint reading is essential.
Skilled in using hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, levels; experienced with power tools including saws and grinders.
Knowledge of construction management principles and construction estimating is advantageous.
Experience with electrical systems related to lighting or illuminated signs is a plus.
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when required for large-scale installations.
Strong understanding of schematics, fabrication processes, masonry techniques, roofing basics, drywall finishing, caulking, plastering, glazing or glass installation skills are beneficial.
Familiarity with construction safety protocols and OSHA standards; ability to work at heights on scaffolding or lifts safely.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
