Some things I've learned in April...⁠
⁠
- The saying we're all in this together is not bulls**t⁠
- This s**t is hard⁠
- There are some really talented individuals out there in this great big world with a lot of heart and determination⁠

Over the month of April I have talked to 17 local business owners, entrepreneurs and creatives. Each one of them opened up about their struggles, needs and anything they wanted to put on the table.⁠

Over the course of these 30 minute daily calls we were able to strategize, connect and put together some deliverables. ⁠
⁠
I've truly enjoyed it more than I thought I would and realized that I just love being there for other humans whether they need me or not! To all of my small business owners, it’s going to be okay. It might not feel like it right now, but instead of worrying about the future it’s time to plan for the future. This is out of your control so shifting your attention to what you can do when the pause button presses play is what you can be focusing on.
I find myself worrying and stressing with all of the “what if” questions like when, how, and of course, can I?
I get it. I deal with it myself. Everyone’s business is unique to them and with that comes problems that are unique. I am not writing to you today to diminish or lighten your severity that you are feeling. I am writing you today to let you know that I am here. If you need a listening ear, a moment to share some of the woes that are holding you down, or to run an idea by someone. I am happy to be that person for you.
Until we are out of this, deep breaths and big air hugs!

YogaZo & Mint Marketing are looking for an Administrative Assistant. Candidates are encouraged to apply with experience in Project Management, Customer Relations, Sales, Marketing and Organizational leadership.

This position is remote and would ask of 8-10 hours a week. You will need access to a computer and phone and on the very rare occasion you would have to travel to meet a vendor or location host.

Applicant must be proficient with email, Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Instagram, Canva and comfortable with contacting vendors (sales). Bonus points for those with experience in using Trello, although not required. Please make mention if accounting and budgets is something you have experience with.

This position is perfect for anyone looking to be creative, take initiative, improve processes, organize multiple calendars, strategize, brainstorm and did I say take initiative? Perfect for a stay at home mom (or dad), a side hustle (to another part time job only) or someone just looking to implement their talents to collaborate with two growing businesses.

If you are meticulous, pay attention to detail, willing to go the extra mile, comfortable with taking initiative without handholding, interested in planning and executing projects, retreats and so much more... You must apply!
