Founded in 1986 as a full-service public relations, advertising and marketing agency, Albuquerque-based Cooney, Watson & Associates, Inc. was established to focus on issues and projects that have a positive impact on the quality of life for the people, businesses and families of New Mexico. Now CWA Strategic Communications, we have created and implemented public and community relations efforts for

a number of memorable, important projects over the years, including the Big-I Interchange Reconstruction Project, the Paseo del Norte/I-25 Interchange Reconstruction Project, the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority’s “Water by the Numbers” campaign and the General Obligation Bond for Higher Education campaigns in 2012 and 2014. In addition, we have created and implemented a number of long-term campaigns for the New Mexico Department of Health, including the Family Infant Toddler Program.
