Leonard (Lee) and Vikki Weisbeck's children and grandchildren leaving the Advertiser building, via the vault, for the last time after the building was purchased by the Alden State Bank. The building was purchased by the Alden Advertiser ( Leonard Sr. and Betty Weisbeck) from the Alden State Bank in 1965. Lee sold the building back to the Alden State Bank in 2022. The Alden State Bank is renovating the building.

The Alden Advertiser welcomes write ups on local sporting events (school and youth leagues). If you are a parent, coach, or high school student who regularly attends specific games and would like to try your hand at writing game summaries for publication email us at [email protected]. Subject- sport write-ups.
There is no monetary compensation, however, writers will receive a byline.
