This week, the ACC Houston - Association of Corporate Counsel Chapter is proud to recognize and thank Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP for their continued partnership and support as a Chapter Meeting Sponsor since 2019.

For more than six years, Akin has helped make it possible for ACC Houston to deliver valuable educational programming, networking opportunities, and professional development for our in-house counsel community. For the second year in a row, the Association of Corporate Counsel - DFW Chapter is honored to receive the Gold Chapter of Distinction Award. The program scores chapters in four areas: sustainable leadership, supportive administrative structure, valuable member benefits, and enthusiastic member engagement. Our chapter’s high score across all four areas reflects the intentionality, dedication and commitment of our board, our volunteers, and our chapter staff.

Our Chapter Growth Report will be presented during the Chapter Presidents Calls in July. These upcoming virtual meetings titled “Understanding Your Chapter Growth Report: From Data to Distinction” will review our data, share trends from the ACC chapter community, and highlight how our scores in each area tie to the award criteria.
