Miss Outlook Pageant

Miss Outlook Pageant In 1973, The Alexander City Outlook and Central Alabama Community College began a winter pageant tradition known today as "THE MISS OUTLOOK PAGEANT".

The pageant is open to girls age 4 through high school seniors and is divided into four categories:

PETITE MISS: age 4 – 2nd grade
LITTLE MISS: 3rd – 6th grade
JUNIOR MISS: 6th – 9th grade
MISS OUTLOOK: 10th – 12th grade

Petite and Little Miss contestants will be judged on sportswear, modeling, overall beauty, interview and party dress, while Junior and Miss contestants will be judged based on

sportswear, modeling, figure, overall beauty, interview and evening gown. Every girl in the pageant will earn a title. Contestants could receive a cash award, roses, a sash or a trophy depending on what category they win. In addition, each will be featured in the paper through the year. The contestant named Miss Outlook will receive a FULL Ambassador’s 2-year scholarship to Central Alabama Community College as well as a loaded prize package compliments of Little Black Dress and High Cotton Custom Framing.

We will be crowning Miss Calendar Girl 2017! - The contestant with the top dollar ad sells will be named as: Miss Calendar Girl 2017.
Award – Photo featured on the back cover of the 2017 Miss Outlook Calendar Girl Pageant program book, full round crown, monogrammed satin banner, crystal crown pin, trophy and gift bag.

Alexander City Outlook subscribers received free copies of the 2016 Miss Outlook Calendar Girl Pageant calendar with their paper this month. If you aren't a subscriber and were in the pageant, you may stop by our office for a copy. They won't last long so get here quick!

A gray child's winter coat and small purse were found in the one of the rooms at Benjamin Russell where the girls dressed for the pageant and have been turned in to The Alex City Outlook. If your child was a contestant in the pageant and either of these items belong to you, we have them at our office. Thank you.
