Nine Yards Media notes the passing of Jack Gansler, former Undersecretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology & Logistics. It was a pleasure to work with him for a number of years and we extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.

Jack Gansler, former Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, has died at 84 and is being remembered for his work on defense and procurement issues, plus how those processes can serve the mission of government.

9YM mourns the passing of Diana Sowle. To the world she was Charlie's mom in "W***y Wonka & The Chocolate Factory." To us, she will always be our slightly wicked Mother Goose in a fractured fairy tale DoD training film. Diana was a talented actress and endearing person who left a mark with all who worked with her.

"Wonder Woman 2," the sequel to the smash 2017 hit starring Israeli actress Gal Gadot, will film at the shuttered Landmark Mall in Alexandria in June and July, sources tell the Washington Business Journal. The film will be set in the 1980s.

We've seen an ebb and flow in documentary and commercial production over our 25+ years in the industry and benefit from the exceptional depth of production talent in the region.
