On a whim, we stopped by the Aliso Viejo Farmers Market at the Aliso Viejo Town Center and ended up bringing home one of the best dinners we’ve had in a long time. 🙌
Fresh Norwegian salmon seasoned with garlic salt, lemon pepper, dill, Little Larry’s, and finished with butter. Meaty, perfectly flaky, no bones, just clean, rich flavor in every bite.
Extra-large sea scallops pan seared in butter with lemon juice, garlic salt, lemon pepper, and house seasonings. Tender, not chewy, just that perfect delicate texture that makes scallops so good.
We sautéed squash, broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, green beans, and onions in almond garlic oil with seasonings… paired it with Seeds of Change white jasmine rice and topped it off with a fresh lemon vinaigrette.
All sourced from Hooked On Fish Co. at the Aliso Viejo Farmers Market (Saturdays 10am–2pm in front of Edwards Cinema).
One of those meals that reminds you:
Fresh ingredients.
Simple prep.
Cooked at home.
Better than a restaurant and way less expensive.
We’ll definitely be back. 🐟✨
