Ad/PR students! Thinking about agency life after graduation?

The 2026–2027 National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC) team is now accepting applications.
This is a two-semester commitment:

CAP 494-01 (Fall ’26)
CAP 495-04 (Winter ’27)

Together, these six credits fulfill your capstone and count as an elective.

You’ll work for a real national client, operate as a student-run integrated agency, and compete against 100+ universities across the country.

Spots are limited. A strong mix of skills is needed (strategy, creative, media, leadership, PR, and more). Students beyond the Ad/PR major are welcome to apply! Must be a junior or senior.

If you’re ready to commit the time and energy, apply now! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfrUW7OzvF6CQcVbTtps1teiGGzNWPmwSsnvkL34E3Yk6h82w/viewform

👏We’re proud to celebrate Dr. Sera Choi, Advertising and Public Relations faculty member in the School of Communications, who received two awards: Audience Choice and Broadest Impact at GVSU’s 3-Minute Scholar (3MS) competition!

Her presentation, “When AI Fails, Care Matters,” highlighted how empathy and humanity can transform communication when technology falls short.

The 3MS event invites GVSU faculty and staff to share their research in just three minutes using one slide, no jargon, and a big impact. đź’™

Congratulations to Dr. Choi for representing Ad/PR and the School of Communications and showcasing the power of meaningful, human-centered research.
