For a long time, the SEO and marketing playbook worked. You knew the moves, you put in the work, and the traffic showed up.
The environment has changed. AI is reshaping how buyers find companies, and the rules that ran the playbook are still being rewritten. That is not anyone's fault. It is moving faster than most companies (and you, if you can admit it) can keep up with.
What it means in practice is that some of what worked three years (or three minutes) ago is not working the same way today. Some of it still works. Some of it needs to be updated. Some of it can be let go.
