For any of you who might find yourself in Alpine this week, I’d like to invite you to drop by the Fort Davis State Bank at 1102 E Holland Ave. The bank is hosting an exhibit of my mom’s (Beverly Dennis), artwork in conjunction with the upcoming ArtWalk this weekend. Her exhibit will be on display this week, until Friday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. The bank is also holding a drawing for her oil painting in this photo, “Weather Changing” (11”x14”). It’s free to enter and would make a great addition to anyone’s home, especially if you love the Big Bend National Park. I hope you will drop by, enter the drawing, and take a look at the other paintings in the lobby while you are there. We are so excited for this opportunity for her work to be displayed! Look who came to visit the Chisos Basin in the Big Bend National Park! I thought he was going to come right into the room, but then he went down toward the Visitor Center. Maybe he was going to pick up some new camping gear at the store! I love living here so much!
