Three women. One wheel. One thread that no one is allowed to cut.

The old stories said a life was spun, measured, and severed by hand. Greek Fates, Norse Norns, and a great deal of dangerous needlework in between.

The new journal entry opens Monday, and it asks what the hoop remembers.

Something is also stirring on the hoop this week. A little mystery, and a code for those who read to the end. I will say no more. Call it a precaution.

This one began in the wet grass. After a warm, gentle rain, I stood barefoot with the cool blades between my toes while the sky opened into two rainbows, and everything went still. I was so struck by the beauty and awe of it, the hush, the glow, the whole ambiance around me, that I had to turn it into a song.

The old stories call a rainbow a serpent made of water and of light. Press play and stand in the grass with me. 🖤
