I hope with this post, I have been able to layout just how huge and in-depth this event is! If you have any questions please contact me! I know its long so I broke it into sections!
We will be hosting a charity event called “Talent Show Of The Arts” in the spring of 2023! This will be a night filled with extraordinary talent. We will be having the event at the The New UVA Club. One side will be dedicated to be an art gallery while the other side will be for the live performances. Our goal for this event is not only to highlight and give exposure to very talented individual participating but we are looking to purchase photography equipment and provide a photography club for The Door Student Services with the proceedings of this event. We also want to help them with their everyday needs so our silent auction proceedings from the art gallery will be given to the door for their overhead cost.
Live Performers:
We would love for you to perform at our event. We will be holding auditions on December 15th! Audition will determine which 10 live performers will be highlighted in a Artist/Performer biography book, which will be available at the main event. Anyone and everyone can audition but you MUST confirm with us before the day of auditions.
We have a group created for our performers and artist, please reach out to us to join.
Artist:
We would love for your art to be displayed in our art gallery! You may submit 1- 3 pieces for the art gallery. If you would like to donate your pieces for the silent auction, the starting bid will be set by you. You will receive the starting bid amount, the remainder of the bid will be donated to the door. We ask you to please submit your work for the art gallery by mid January because the submissions will determine which 10 gallery artists will be highlighted in a Artists/Performers biography book, which will be available at the main event.

The Door Student Service:
The Door is an afterschool program that feeds the teens Monday through Friday, and gives them a place to safely hang out in a positive and family-like environment! This afterschool program is a non-government funded program. They keep their doors open for all, but the organization was developed for the teens that need some extra loving, caring, and safety.
Sponsors:
If your interested in helping support this event financially we will be showering our sponsors with shoutouts, thank you letters, logos plastered on tickets, billboards and we will even have some pages in the Artist/Performers biography book reserved for them. Auditions For The Talent Show Of The Arts. ( Open to the public- $10 entry)
Audition is setup to help determine what 10 live performers will be highlighted in the Artist/Performers Biography book. This book is being handmade by Secondary Press. Which I find to be just incredible. His work is art and to have him create the book for our talented participants, It just feels full circled to me.
J&J's 3D Prints and Designs will be providing us with custom and personalized trophies to hand out at the main event to some extraordinary individuals.
I love that I have been about to incorporate so many local businesses!
