Crazy About Pets Magazine

A magazine started to highlight local shelters and rescues. It also contains heartwarming adoption st Crazy About Pets was the answer to that!

Mike and I started our placemat business (see facebook.com/creativityunleashedamsterdam) almost 5 years ago. We are able to feature some wonderful local rescues on our mats and it really helps get more exposure for pets that need forever homes. So we started to think one day, "How could we help even more shelters get noticed?". By publishing this magazine we are able to feature many different resc

ues/shelters at the same time, giving the community the information they may need when looking for a pet to add to their families. We found while working with such special shelter workers and volunteers that they don't get the recognition they need, they can't advertise the way they would like to in order to get the word out about who they are. This magazine helps do that. We have some wonderful contributors as well who cover important topics each time. The heartwarming stories we have been able to place on these pages are the result of some wonderful pet loving people who have offered to tell their stories. It is our hope that this magazine serves to steer people toward local rescue organizations and shelters to adopt. It would be wonderful as well if this serves to inspire people to either volunteer or donate to area shelters/rescues so they can continue their amazing work. if you would like to view our magazines online you can do so at:

This one came out last month, we are late getting it up. Mike and I are so grateful for all of the support we have received with the placemat and magazines, as always! Please support the businesses on it and in the magazines. They are helping us get the word out about pets who need homes.

It's been BUSY the past year. Full time jobs, freelance projects, and a new magazine started. In NO WAY would we forget about the pets waiting for forever homes in our area. We included rescues/shelter pages in our first issue of We Call This HOME Magazine This time we are going to insert an actual Crazy About Pets magazine right into the pages. SO EXCITING! But tons of work for the two of us, so please be patient while we go out and get advertising to support it and get this out! If you have been contacted to run an ad and you want to, please let us know asap, so I can plan out pages. I have many stories to get on the pages, they are done last so don't be concerned if you have not heard from me yet. I will get to it eventually :) - Mike and I will be out today visiting with as many of you as we can to touch base.
Thanks to everyone involved, there is no limit to where we can take this magazine, because WE LOVE WHAT WE DO...and of course We Love PETS and we know you do TOO!🐾❤️

It's Coming! Yes! There are 8 local shelter and rescue pages included in this magazine, you know we could not have done it otherwise. They need the eyes on them, they need homes. Please pick up a copy when we get them out and if you are not looking for a pet, please consider volunteering or donating to one of the shelters in the magazine or to any shelter or rescue. Hoping to pick this up on Friday! We may have to rent a Home Depot truck, along with Dan's Chevy but we got this! Cannot wait to see it and get it out there. We have called both of our children to help out, so if all goes well, you would be able to pick up a copy and read it at various places by the end of the weekend. Will keep everyone updated on how it is going and where we get them out to as we go. :)
As soon as it is here, I will also put it up online.

Mike is out delivering all day today (he started yesterday). Another chance for these precious dogs/cats to find forever. Thank you to all of our restaurants and businesses for supporting this endeavor. 10 years and still going strong - we love what we do! Next one will have SPRING art on it!

Hey Friends, our wonderful "Aunt Tina" who has been our groomer (when we groomed Brownie) and our friend for years now has published another book. She is fantastic and super talented in so many ways. She has written for us in our magazines and she has published her own books. She currently has her latest book for sale "To Love and Be Loved". If you love pets or know someone who does this would make a really nice gift. Shopping local is so very important these days! Call the shop to get your copy and Tina will sign it for you before you come!

We put some more magazines in Price Chopper today and some other places as we delivered our placemats...a few more weeks left (we got 4 mos there), we are down to only about 6 boxes of 100 left, out of 10,000! Guess we better get going on the next idea soon. Life is too short not to do what you love and have passion about.

Hey everyone...we received this book in the mail to preview it. I was only on the 5th or so page and I was already balling! It is going to be an amazing read. In this crazy world, do yourself a favor, buy this heartwarming book and sit down and chill and read it. I love it already and cannot wait to sit down and read on...
Peggy Frezon has written for our magazine...she has written other fabulous books as well...I highly recommend any of her books.
