Giving our mountain communities some love with First 5 San Bernardino at The Lake Gregory Company Regional Park for our Splish Splash Water Safety Fun Day. As part of the Kid Safe Summer campaign, our safety experts walked parents and caregivers through important tips for little ones.

Chris spends his days helping clients connect with our Inland Empire communities. Now he's helping serve one, too. We're proud to celebrate his appointment to the Board of Directors for Riverside Meals On Wheels, Inc., an organization that provides meals and connection to seniors and individuals with disabilities throughout the region. It's one more example of something we believe strongly at Westbound: the communities we serve are worth showing up for. Congratulations, Chris and we look forward to the impact you'll make.

We are thrilled to have Ava Kendrena on our Westbound team! Ava comes to us with a degree in Communications and PR from California State University, Fullerton (Go Titans!) and robust experience working with nonprofits, healthcare orgs, and security clients (to name a few!). She also serves on the OC PRSA Board as Secretary.

In her first month with Westbound, Ava has:

🎓 Secured national media coverage on the current job market and career services offered in higher education
🗳️ Supported election efforts through media management and video production
🚧 Developed social media content highlighting infrastructure and important updates on construction sites
📈 Crushed annual reporting and media coverage recaps for a global data and tech client

Please join us in welcoming Tiffany Aguinaldo, APR to Westbound!

To those in our industry, Tiffany likely looks familiar. She is a true PR powerhouse and recognized leader in Orange County, having served as the 2025 OCPRSA President.

Joining us as an Account Director, with over a decade of experience in public relations, Tiffany has led strategic communications efforts across industries including commercial real estate, finance, and technology. In the course of her career, Tiffany has worked with major brands like Synchrony Bank, Hoag, Toyota, and Irvine Company.

Her background in media relations, crisis communications, and project management brings a thoughtful, strategic edge that will be a huge asset to our growing communications team.

Stormwater Troopers reporting for duty! Victor and Maria teamed up with at the Newton T. Bass Branch Library to teach kids a big lesson in a very fun way: What goes into storm drains eventually reaches our waterways.

From Sonny the Stormwater Trooper to live Enviroscape demonstrations, the day turned pollution prevention into something kids could actually see and touch … because … protecting our waterways starts long before adulthood. 💧

It all started with yearbook and an English class.
⭐ For Carrie, a future Westbound began with Mr. Moss encouraging her to join journalism and Mrs. Syphus making her a stronger writer. Years later, those early pushes helped shape a career built around communications and connecting with people. That’s the thing about great teachers, their impact doesn’t stop at graduation.

This Teacher Appreciation Week, we’re celebrating educators everywhere, especially the teachers connected to our own Westbound family: spouses and kiddos including Susan, Veronica, Kevin, Keegan, and Cameron. 🍎

Thank you for shaping futures every single day.

Turns out… we clean up pretty well. 🌎 For Earth Day, the Westbound crew traded laptops for gloves and joined Keep Riverside Clean & Beautiful (KRCB) for the Great American Cleanup in downtown Riverside.

We picked up trash, ran into familiar faces (hi Assemblywoman Leticia Castillo 👋), and proved that teamwork looks just as good on the streets as it does in the office. And we’re keeping it going! Westbound is officially adopting a street in downtown Riverside (near our office at The Mission Inn Hotel & Spa ) and we’ll be out there all year helping keep it clean.

Because one cleanup is great. Showing up again (and again!) is better.
