Tourism season is underway in Alaska, and we're helping clients prepare for a successful summer by updating and strengthening their crisis communications plans. While we hope they're never needed, preparing ahead of time can make all the difference when unexpected situations arise. That’s why we work with clients to strengthen and refine their crisis communications plans. That includes:
👉 Knowing who your crisis team is, and running that team through a crisis response drill annually, at minimum. Practice makes perfect.
👉 Preparing draft messaging – called holding statements – in advance for common industry crises.
👉 Updating contact lists and spokesperson information for key entities and partners, so the information is always at your fingertips — even if the internet is down.
👉 Compiling a plan and process to actively monitor media and social channels to quickly identify and correct misinformation.
Anticipating a crisis and having a plan in place can make all the difference. We’re always keeping an eye out for ways to prepare our clients for any communication situation!
