We have gotten a lot of storms and rain over the past few days and even weeks. It has been a wet summer. Looking forward to fall and cooler temps. And being outside more.

Today my youngest son is having a birthday. He and I will be having lunch to celebrate. What a great day this is.

Started the day feeling a little ill. Had some breakfast and felt a little better after a few minutes. Took a nap then just sit around for a bit. Feeling much better I went to eat with my sister, my brother and his wife to a restaurant only my sister had been to. The food was great, but spending time with family is just the greatest.

WOW! It has been really hot the last few days. I'm ready for some cooler weather. How about me friends, are you ready for cooler weather too? I haven't been able to do much work in my shop because of the heat. I'm looking forward to getting back in my shop because I have a lot to do. Not only cleaning it up but getting my tools set up so I can get back to turning pens and other projects. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks everyone for your support.

My friends, I must tell you about a restaurant in Anderson, SC. The name is George's Drive In. They have the best lemon pie that you will ever put in your mouth. SO, SO GOOD! I recently had a cheeseburger club with fries and slaw, again SO GOOD! A couple of days ago I had their flounder and shrimp dinner. OH SO GOOD! Can you tell I eat there a lot? Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

About 2 years ago I purchased a 2019 Toyota 4Runner. I love this SUV. However, it is not my dream car. My dream car is a Shelby Cobra roadster. It will be dark blue with double white stripes down the center and a 427 CID engine under the hood. I'll be building it myself, with some help, as close to the original as possible. I have included a picture for everyone to see what my next vehicle will look like. Hope you enjoy.
