Lets try this again (it was cut off too soon!) It's a longer video than normal, but its definitely worth the whole watch through. In honor of the memories of those fallen, Id love to produce some of these jets for some children of those service members that have passed in the line of duty. If you know anyone deserving, please reach out. This weekend in in honor of those gone too soon and made the ultimate sacrifice, but its up to us to keep thier memories alive.

Some beautiful slabs of maple that at one point likely looked very similar, now look very different due to different factors in nature. Though both are maple, I tend to use Ambrosia maple on projects that need cleaner and less busy wood grain, where as I use Spalted maple on projects that need enhanced colors and figuring.

The White Ash scoops are available and LIVE on our Etsy site for sale! These scoops are ~1.9 Tbsp in capacity (if you measure with your heart then these are for YOU). They're finished in a food safe mineral oil for ease of care and are handwash safe. Refinish them periodically with food grade mineral oil or cutting board oil (because we are all refinishing our wooden cutting boards, right??). Follow the link below!

Going from the raw and unfinished White Ash in the first photo, into the second with a healthy soak in food grade finish really brings out the rich colors within. Ash has always had some beautiful hues and shades that pop after applying the final finish. Once dried, they'll retain their colors, but will keep a more matte sheen rather than a glossy one. I love stopping in to Tools for Vets and rummaging through their gently used tools! I'm definitely one to go to garage sales and antique stores to find some cool tools for reuse, the difference here is that I know my money is going towards doing good for some people that need the community support!
