It’s Reddy Kilowatt time!!!
Earlier this year I had the pleasure of meeting a very cool guy known as “Roamin Rich”.
Rich heard about Neon Road from a referral. I’d like to thank Chris L Dupont for recommending Neon Road to Rich!!
Back in January, Rich reached out to me to discuss a very special neon sign build for a very special project. Turns out Rich is a very passionate US Route 66 historian and is highly regarded in this space. He also happens to have a deep appreciation for neon art and the history of neon signs that were used to represent small mom and pop business establishments along historic US Route 66….
It was then, that I found out about the Reddy Kilowatt neon sign that Rich was interested in commissioning Neon Road to build for the Shamrock Court located along side of historic US Route 66 in Sullivan, MO!!

Rich and his wife originally purchased this little Route 66 motor lodge in order to save it. Rich explained to me when he bought it, it was just a mess. The amount of $$$, work and renovations that Rich has invested into this little gem is amazing. I know once he officially gets The Shamrock Court open (which I believe is next month) this little jewel located in Sullivan, Mo will be sold out 7 days/week and 52 weeks/ year. He actually plans to have a very special room known as “the neon room” which is where the Reddy Kilowatt sign that Neon Road built will be displayed at amongst some other neon pieces….
I would like to thank “Roamin Rich” for trusting Neon Road and allowing us the opportunity to build such a super cool piece for such a super cool place!!! I told Rich that if I agreed to build this sign that Jill and I get a free night stay in the neon room at the Shamrock Court!!!!🤣🤣
