We met Rachel at the Merrimon-Wynne showcase, and not long after, this landed in our DMs. Four shirts, four sets of initials, lowercase classic serif, and a small heart with an R on the sleeve. She drew the cuff so we’d know exactly what she meant.

We stitched it straight off the page. Blue awj, red asb, yellow sks, green ads.

The handkerchiefs came after. Four of them, her own handwriting.

I said absolutely not.

A huge brand asked about live embroidery on site last June. The machine weighs 100 pounds. I told them it was impossible.

Then The Bradford announced a summer showcase. August 3. My birthday. The venue where we got married. Everything lined up, so I slid into their DM and asked anyway.

The machine hit our stand on the way there and the motor locked. We could not stitch a thing all day.

But I had stayed up the night before making cocktail napkins just in case. No one left empty-handed.

One machine became three. Now nothing goes on site without a backup.

Thank you to every brand, planner, venue, and private party who has had us since.

A year in, it is the whole business. And it almost didn’t happen.

Since everyone’s going crazy over heirloom handkerchiefs this weekend, we wanted to showcase our version.

The lace. Made entirely from scratch, from thread. We digitized Anna’s handwriting and embroidered both directly onto premium linen. Starting from raw fabric. Nothing pre-made.

Two custom moments for her parents. The kind that last forever.

These are our absolutely favorite things to do. Sentimental pieces that become heirlooms.

Live embroidery at The Maxwell during Grey Gardens themed mini open house. We stitched custom cocktail napkins while guests sipped their way through the evening. Since we launched live embroidery as our main thing last August, we’ve done a lot of events. Learned a lot. Overthought a lot. (You know me.)
Every single time, I was thinking about how to make it better. Smoother. More seamless for our brand partners, our guests, the whole experience.
