Something unexpected happened at my recent market, and I felt it was worth sharing—especially for fellow small business owners and thoughtful shoppers.
A customer stepped into my booth and recorded the entire display without a single word. No greeting, no questions, no connection… just a quiet walk-through behind a camera lens.
As a creative who pours time, care, and intention into every stitched detail, moments like this can feel a little unsettling. My booth isn’t just a setup—it’s a reflection of my heart, my work, and the experience I hope to create for each person who stops by.
I truly believe in kindness, respect, and community—especially in spaces that celebrate handmade businesses. So I wanted to open up a conversation around this.
✨ If you’re a customer:Would you ever record a vendor’s booth without speaking to them? What would be your reason for doing so?
✨ If you’re a vendor:Has this ever happened to you? How would you respond in the moment?
Your thoughts truly matter, and I would love to hear your perspective. 💜
