Shout out to my fellow female business owners/operators, commemorating the 35th anniversary of the H.R. 5050 Women’s Business Ownership Act of 1988. This landmark legislation was created to address the needs of women in business by giving women entrepreneurs better recognition, additional resources and eliminated all individual state laws that required women to have a male relative sign for a business loan. Keep fighting the good fight!

Legendary logo. Bad-ass branding.

On this day in 1971, the infamous ROLLING STONES logo was introduced as the logo for their new Record Label ROLLING STONES RECORDS, also known as the ‘lips and tongue logo’, or the ‘Hot Lips logo’. Mick Jagger commissioned London Artist John Pasche to create a design that could potentially be used for the upcoming 1970 European Tour & beyond, Mick’s suggested using the tongue of Hindu Goddess Kali. 🙏😎🤘

Pasche took the suggestion & inspiration from Jagger, ultimately using Mick’s own lips as the creative basis & rendered what you see below. The artwork/ Logo would ultimately become one of the most Iconic & well-known Rock N’ Roll Logos in Music History. …. “It’s Only Rock N’ Roll, But I like it”
